Why would Chelsea want Deco? He's a very talented played but he's got to be one of the most inconsistant footballers I've ever seen. Ballack, Essien and Lampard are all different class in comparison.
 
thats what i thought, but last night he was outstanding and with flair players coming in along with a brazilian coach could bring a new exctiing chelsea team.
 
I didn't catch all of the game, but Deco seemed to do as little as he usually does tbh. The guy certainly has a reputation that exceeds the ability he consistently shows.
 
All this talk about only getting 25mil for ronaldo is right, madrid bid 70mil,pay 25mil up front, then rip manu off with the rest, this is what will happen

I don't think anyone is saying all that much else about Wes Brown, he is a good defender, almost definitely not a great one but he can hold down a place at Man Utd and would keep a place at almost any other team in the league so he isn't all that shabby either.

Well what else do you expect to happen? Ronaldo is a very good player, probably in the top ten of players who've played for Man Utd but if he wants to move on then there isn't a terrible amount that the club can do.

As I've said before I hope they take a stand but it doesn't make much sense from a fiscal point fo view to do so, if they do it will be mainly from a principal rather than anything else.

It will cost us a good player either way (if he stays he will either be in the stands, or not play as well as when he is happy) and possibly cost us some money if he doesnt go until next summmer

But all that would be worth seeing IF it got into RM's thick skull that they cant just have anyone they want whenever it suits them

Utd WILL have another world class player in the form of his life that any team would want, and sometime Utd have to put their foot down and say "No"
 
CR has now come out and stated that he wants to complete his "dream move" on the BBC website.
God knows how much this transfer is going to cost Real Madrid - all I can say is I'm sure it's not going to be worth it!!
 
It's funny that Ronaldo has apparently been carryying an injury for the past 3 months and Man Utd haven't noticed it..maybe a lame excuse to miss preseason?
 
Hmm, im still not 100% he'll go, definitely in the future, but why now?

IF they get the money thats being talked about, i'd look at Quaresma, Simao etc, Queiroz can get them.

If he goes it'll be a shame, but its going to happen at some stage.
