Yes they could the SEALS are easily as good as our marines plues the SEALS have LOTS of equipment that actually works.

We have a limited amount of chinooks and half of them are grounded and out of action.

If your not using chinooks to fly them in what are you going to use?

People seem to get caught up in the whole mystique of the SAS and blow it right out of proportion. You can no more tell me that they are better than an american special forces unit than I can prove the other way.

Yeah no ones expecting that to stick though. There's a lot of talk we will u turn as well. The 400m is a shambles and a clear indication of how long you have to wait for airbus to try to get anything right.

Especially for military use you want something that's more mechanical and will just work. A workhorse. Any time you power up an airbus its a leap into the unknown with the errors your going to get before dispatch.
