Thinking of selling the PS3 - am i mad?

If you dont use it then sell it now, at E3 if Sony announce PS2 compatibility for the 40Gb through firmware then it wont be worth as much. Seems pointless you keeping it if you have no taste in great games :D (just kidding), also if at E3 there is a price drop then you can always get one at a later date. Have you though of getting the Nyko infa red remote with IR dongle for your PS3? Im not sure but couldnt the Harmony remote "learn" this IR device, then you could use the PS3 superior DVD upscaling and BD functions at some point.

if you don't like it and prefer your 360 then its a no brainer really.

it is however criminal to sell it when mgs4 is out :p

Have you seen how much the BR - IR dongles are??

I sold my 360 and Wii for similar reasons. It wasn't exactly a money issue but when you see expensive peices of hardware sitting about not being used it just does sit right in the pit of your stomach.

It does mate sorry but just put Blu-Wave Infrared Remote in google and you'll find some links.

This is another remote though, i bought the Logitech so i only had one and tbh it's damn good.

From what i've seen you can get a Bluetooth to infra red dongle, anyone know how much these are?

As far as I know you can't get a Bluetooth to infra red dongle. What you can get is a infrared USB dongle, which is what msmalls74 is talking about. Yes it includes a remote, but the idea is you just the use IR dongle with your Harmony, though he doesn't know if you can train the Harmony to work with it, but you probably can.

Another options is http://www.engadget.com/2006/12/24/control-your-playstation-3-with-ir/

Id have this ps3! im really interested in gt5 (even the prologue thing) and gta4 (im not a m$ when it comes to the xbox really and i cant really describe why :s)

Then again i only just got a game cube.... (£13!!!!!!!) and i really REALLY like this new zelda game....

Anyway, base it on how much you like the ps3 only games (and the pad, i like the dualshock 2's..).
