Allegedly the most commonly used emulsifier in the food processing industry, it can be found in, amongst other foods, Black Forest gateau mix, cakes, hot-chocolate mix, aerosol creams, shaped crisps, quick custard mix, packet dessert topping, dehydrated potato, sponge puddings, sterilised, pasteurised and UHT cream, low-calorie cream and pasteurised low-fat cream, margarine and low fat spreads, and ice cream.

Carrageenan is a naturally occurring family of carbohydrates extracted from red seaweed. This particular type of seaweed is common in the Atlantic Ocean near Britain, Europe and North America. The seaweed is boiled to extract the carrageenan.
Carrageenan is widely used as an additive by the food industry for its gelling, thickening and stabilising properties.

Dextrose, also known as corn sugar, is a simple carbohydrate. It is 70 - 80% as sweet as sucrose (table sugar) and is absorbed and utilised quickly, providing a rapid source of energy.

McDonald's staff are there to look after you and make sure that you have everything you need. Want to order 10 Big Macs? Go ahead, the staff will certainly not ridicule you or call you names.

I never got how people can afford it, a meal is something like £4. You always see these kids on tv saying how they have a Macdonalds every day and it isn't as if their parents look as if they are earning much...

You keep away money for delicatessens like McDo. :D.
To me it looks delicious, I love treating myself with MacDonalds, BK or KFC, I could live from it I reckon.

I can afford it with what my parents pay me.
