I wouldnt tell them its wrong, but i would explain to them its an illness that they cant help, and that there normal like everyone else.

i didnt have a problem with the advert, guess the child calling the male chef "mum" could be over top to some viewers

Looks like society has a problem with people who are gay, would have been fine if it was a woman though, I bet. What about 2x women? I think it's a little sad to complain over something so minor and small, some people are pretty sad and low and need a life.

I myself don't care, it's an advert that spouts humour, nothing more. It's not like your watching to gay men going at it.

I'm not condoning gayness or anything I just think people who whine over this are pretty sad and probably insecure. If I was Heinz I would fight it.

If it is not a choice then it is some physical and chemical difference and due to it's detrimental nature (from a survival etc point of view) it would probbably be classed as an illness.

getting offended over arguably accurate medical terms however does seem to fit in well with this new generation.

From a survival point of view, if the human population doesn't stop breeding, it'll cause even more damage

Hell, homosexuality might even be a roundabout cure to the world's problems

damage to what?

and by survival I mean in basic darwinistic terms, just like every other species will will reach a point where we are limited by something, at which point the population will decrease until we reach a new equilibrium then rise and then fall again and on and on.

We're just better (at least in the industrialized cultures) at raising the limiting factors.

That advert is better then 99% of the adverts you see these days.

Although I'm pretty sure it's just a publicity stunt. The advert is now bound to get air time on the major news networks at prime time now for free as well as in the papers.

I very much doubt the ASA would ever ban an advert for two men kissing, there really is no reason and they would do.

I don't get it? I was expecting to see two guys making out whilst covered in beans the way people are going on about this... the joke of the advert doesn't really portray them as being gay either. Dark ages much? ironically it was more acceptable to be gay in the past than it is now, no matter how much Will&Grace people watch.
