Why does normal have to mean the same? It is normal to have blue eyes, it is normal to have brown eyes for example. Normal doesn't have to mean "everyone does it".
Illness is a state of poor health, so you can't class homosexuality as an illness anymore than you can a different eye colour. It doesn't affect the organisms chances of survival or the species as a whole. You could say it's a defect, but it doesn't really fit the definition of illness.
Has Tefal come out of the closest in the past 6 pages? He's always so interested in these gay threads.

Because I like biology, and the chemistry involved. Also I act under the now obviously false assumption that people may be willing to hold a nice little debate, and not be all "omgz he used a word which may be interpreted as somehow negative OMGZZZZZ call *** police!"

'We' as individuals won't die out, however 'we' as a society might die out.
But who is to say that's the wrong thing for the human race as a whole?
We've developed/evolved beyond any other lifeform on Earth, so comparisons with other mammals are fairly meaningless - we're no longer at the point where our sole imperative is to breed and survive as a species.
Perhaps the human race is destined to slowly shrink over time until we become extinct, freeing the planet for the evolution of the next sentient species in a couple of million years.
After all, recent research has unearthed T-Rex size tubes of KY.![]()
