I went today. Was surprised with how many people were there. I got sunburnt as usual, Silverstone is the only place where i can catch the sun on an overcast day!

For those insterested, the open section of track has moved, you can spectate from Club, down past Abby, and get into the Luffield A Grandstand and embankment only. Still some good viewing to be had.

Anyone else see the Lotus drivers having way to much fun on the Stowe circuit?

Yeah i saw them. They were getting quicker each lap. Once the f1 cars stopped you could hear them have a tyre squealing good time

Wouldnt mind doing that myself. Is it one of their driving days?

Yeah, it was one of the days being advertised in the Silverstone 'portacabbin' behind the Abby grandstand. Basically hammer an Elise round for a day

Looks pretty cool. Im actually doing a driving experience day on Friday. Will be driving: Ferrari 360, Lambo Gallardo, Porsche 911 and an Aston Martin DB9/V8 Vantage.

Blimey, those passes look a little amatuer! Thankfully I'm working for the publication company who produce the programmes so get to go in the paddock etc. on race weekend. I also sleep in one of the motorhomes

All this was told AFTER I bought my race weekend tickets x2 :/

had i known people were that interested in paddock access i could have got some BRDC passes for the paddock.
