Harsh, not entirely unexpected but still a bit harsh. Considering he has been working under conditions that would cause most normal people to crack (and a couple have) I don't think he has done a bad job. He perhaps isn't quite up to the task of getting Hearts to challenging the Old Firm regularly but it is difficult to know when he has been so crippled by having a fruitbat for an owner to contend with.
Yeah he's been erm, quite a revelation, I'm sure Wenger was straight on the phone as soon as he finished watching the Germans' group stage games.
I actually think Crouch would suite Arsenal perfectly. He's got amazing feet for such a tall lad and he keeps the ball moving. Not forgetting his size and holding ability.

I doubt they'll keep Eto'o, Guardiola has already said he's surplus to requirements.
The question that's more important is, will anybody have him with the amount he'll cost in transfer fee + wages. They might get stuck with him.

I doubt anyone will care, Norwich have signed Hoolihan from Blackpool for £250k + goalkeeper Matt Gilks. An excellent piece of business.
We pay Rooney £100,00-£120,00 a week depending on where you read, so I'm sure we wouldn't be afraid to pay Eto'o the same.
