Yep, i was married to my wife for over 4 years when it happened (last December :/ ). We both know why it happened and we are stronger now than before.

Ok let me rephrase the question, why did you go behind your gf's back instead of just ending it and starting a relationship with this new girl?

At the time i was having sex on tap from 2 beautiful girls at the age of 23, now it may be wrong but at the time i didn't give a ****, it was great fun

there is no need for that tbh. people have reasons for doing stuff, whether they have admitted it to themselves or their partners is for them to deal with.

There is no rational or moral reason to cheat though and once you think to or start doing things outside these, ie for your own selfish pleasure then you become weak minded fool. You, yourself cheated when under marriage contract with your wife which is worse then what he did but least you acknowledge it and are genuinely sorry for it. The "It just happened" excuse is simply anything but. G|mp has always come across as a tit way before this thread came along so I'll say it through precedence

I can see exactly where G|mp is coming from, he knew it'd be fun so he did it. Most people cheat because they enjoy it, the same reason most people do anything :\
 
This is always going to be a sensitive subject, As I said, I for one would never cheat, and I can't see how knowingly hurting someones feelings can be classed as "fun".

If you feel the "spark" has gone out of the current relationship, then talk to your partner first, either sort it out with them or call it a day, and then find someone else.

At least you can discuss it though, if manoz knew he was going to be offended by it why did he even click the thread?

I was man enough to admit i did it and whilst being slightly ashamed of it it didn't stop me enjoying it at the time

Nobody got hurt :)
 
Nope - wouldn't cheat. Matter of principle and respect.

If she cheated - relationship over.

If I feel the relationship isn't going anywhere and start getting interested in other women - relationship over.

I only trust once. Period (although it takes time to develop trust).
