What a bad day...

Well when I sell both Scoobs I'll have a fair bit of money... :D Don't know to be honest. I can't think of anything I'd rather have :(

It depends what your budget will be, there are rather a lot of better cars than an impreza turbo, as good as one may be :)

Are you seriously that dumb!!!!...come out from behind your computer and get in the real world!!..

They are kind of right though, what are the chances of this happening again? Ive never heard of this ever happening before.

But there is a chance they would chace you no mater what nice car you have:confused:

If you are too worryed get your self and armoured car some how:p

So next time they see him driving down the road in the same scoob there just drive by and say ""o look thats the kid we chased, jolly good show""..lol..
Each to there own but id get rid of all ties...wouldnt really fancy an axe in the back of my head tbh..

Out of interest, why didn't your mate call the police while you were Russ Swifting it around the backroads?

2 things to comment on here, firstly the tracker company are dispicable, the fact they can calmyl sit there and say we can see your car on screen but we arnt going to tell you because we want some money off you first is down right disgusting.
Secondly id start to ponder weather this was a spur of the moment, see your car in the street and single you out thing, or weather there was more to it and you was scoped out before hand.

EDIT** On the point of selling it, id just start carrying a heavy blunt object around with me, a large wrench or some other instrumant of pain :D

Selling the car makes no change to the ability of being able to identify the people responsible for the theft. As I have said I personally would keep the car the people may not have been local, just spooted the car etc.

If they came for it again then fair enough but you can't let idiots like this stop you from having something you want and at the end of day any threat of violance etc would be removed as soon as you chucked them the keys.

My ex was in the police and she said she'd never let me get an Impreza as almost all of the car jacking that went on was for Imprezas. Some really nasty stories too, worse than the OP.

Unfortunately this happens quite a lot in the major cities. Where you and Fox are then maybe it's rarer but I wouldn't want to be driving around in a moving target.

I think the point is not the OP still being able to identify these scumbags, but that they might identify him again, once they know the police have been informed. Also, how can you guarantee these guys won't beat you senseless just for the hell of it once you DO give up the keys??

I think I would sell the scoobies too... buy something a bit more subtle...

Glad you're ok

Glad you're OK, I don't think many of us can imagine what it is like to go through something like that.

Still got the WRX too lol. Why sell it? Well firstly they've got the key, I know that can be changed... but you know! I don't know if they know the car or what, and to be quite honest, I'm not willing to put my friends and family in that position again. If I was a loner, no family, no friends, then fine. But there is no way I'm letting anyone harm my friends. So up for sale it will go :) I can't complain, 3 Subarus in 3 years and I'm only 20, so meh.

how have you had three scoobs, and your only 20, how are you insured. Thought you had to be at least 21?

sorry to hear that, you must have been terrifyed. I'm not sure i would have known what to do in the situation. If it was my local area which i know like the back of my hand i would have been ok but it sounds like they knew what they were doing and it was pre-meditated, it's just unlucky that you were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Hopefully you'll get some cash off the useless tracking company, i cant believe she refused to tell you were the car was. I'd push for the charges

I got told by a copper mate some time ago that Imprezas and X5s are popular theft targets :( Stories of people being held at gunpoint on their own doorstep to surrender the keys.

Flame jets f.t.w.
