Firmware updates on the PS3 are always full OS installs and not incremental like MS updates, so anyone who buys one new will only have one update to install!

I'm hardly a fanboy, considering I admire both consoles in equal measure for their own strengths and weaknesses. The only fanboys here are the ones defending 2.40 and even touting as superior to Live when no, jesus christ, simply no.

Can you invite friends to matches? No. Can you join friends in matches? No. Can you play any music you want during your games? No. Can you earn trophies and experience on any actual PS3 games? No.

2.40 better than Live? No.
