that was only 10c at load and it all depends how bad your IHS and heatsink are

I got 1.208 in cpu-z and 1.250 in core temp(which isnt accurate as it said i was still on 1.25 when i was on 4ghz ^^), think i will believe the cpu-z

tis on stock settings atm but will run 3.995 on 1.52v in windows i think it was

My first chip was a 1.3250vid that didn't clock well. Ended up settling for 400x8 but needed silly volts for anything better.

Got a new one in the post this morning

Just playing with it now. It's another 1.3250 :mad:

but seems to be doing much better. Currently priming at 3200 356x9 and have just had to make my first vcore increase due to a BSOD. Hopefully this one will do a bit better.

temps where a problem at first in this hot weather but i lapped it and my TRUE and dropped the temps by 10c

after 15+ hours of prime max temp was 69c and that was on the hottest day in the UK so far

Recieved my first quad just the other week and it has the same VID 1.235. Guess I got lucky

It's only clocked to 3Ghz at present. Idles around 39-45C, 100% load gives me 56-62C. That's using a TT120 inside a sonata III, all 3 fans set fairly low. Fans cranked all the way up only gives a 3C drop. I'm worried these temps are a little high, or am I just paranoid?

Thats speed step doing its thing - not started clocking yet. I have my suspicions that this board aint reading the VID right tho as I aint ever seen a VID that low.

IF you havent lapped it then that might be your problem as the TT's are very uneven surfaces from my experience

I aint sure if mine was properly or not, was at 4 with 1.25 :S

I haven't tried lapping before, so maybe I'll give it a try. Time to dig out some old heatsinks and hone my skills :eek:

SpeedStep does affect the VID reading.
