Vauxhall Corsa

I know its a Corsa but I can't bring myself to deliberately trash somebody elses property :( I'm so boring :( The best I've done is a wheelspin off the lights :(

Driving a truck turns you into a perv (better view 4tw;)), driving a Corsa turns you into a ****.

Get out while you can!

admittedly my megane does it too, but only because of the cheap snot tyres.

Trashing it is a bad thing, but a little J turn is surely just warming up the tyres and making sure the handbrake applies correctly? :D

Awwwww, how are you ever going to cope driving a Vauxhall Corsa?!?!? Surely it isn't possible to drive it without having a mental breakdown!

:p

Try doing 25k in 10 months in one running on satanic fuel :(

Same here, I drive a new shape 07 reg CDTI for work, to be fair its not a bad drive compared to my poor old Mother's Corsa C 1.2. As said its fairly well built and the CDTI does seem to have a little bit of kick but im 24 now and I feel like such a penis driving it and seem to be a target for every boy racer in their 1.2L supermini.

I'm surprised to see any rust on your car the amount of tlc that goes into it.

same here

my mondeo was abused for years (fleet car, then a family run around) and its got no rust any where, just a bumper and bonnet splattered in chips which i'm sure fox's will have too..

Yea its a bit weird especially as the two common E39 rust points (Inside filler cap and boot tailgate) are both absolutely spotless. They reckoned it might be stone damage but either way, its being sorted, so meh.

This thread is funny for 2 reasons:

1 ) OMG LOLZ FOX IN A CORSA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *breathes* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!

2) That means your 530 is back in the ever so slightly dodgy hands of the body shop... which random panel will they bend/respray/scratch/replace/take off for no reason this time! :)

Unlucky Fox!

J-Turn for the win though!

A mate recently got givin a chrysler thing,as a courtesy car, looked like a mitz?

That was awful, really awful! I can't describe how awful it was to drive.

I would have the Corsa any day over that.

my mum took her lexus into the garage last week to get sorted for a few problems and was given the daddy of all gangster cars, the chrysler 300c, the thing is like a bloody tank! has two batteries for gods sake?!?

I share your pain, my brother has a 1.2 corsa just as a P O S runabout, and i had to drive it yesterday. It amazes me how someone can drive it as a regular car...

because it gets you from A to B that's why and not everyone shares interests in spending as much as you can afford for a nice car when ultimately it will lose value very quickly.

I will admit that my experience with cars isn't that vast, but I've driven both my line manages cars (once when getting tyres replaced on mine and the other when taking it in turns to drive up to Manc) being a 330d and Saab 93 not sure of exact specification of them both but probably the most expensive car's I've driven and they're probably not much to people on here.

I would quite happily take my company car (Golf) over those two any day because it does the same job and I'm not stung so much on tax. If they cost the same tax wise and I had a choice, I would obviously take the 330d or the Saab.

this is all very good, until you consider that people will happily spend TWELVE THOUSAND POUNDS and upwards on a corsa

Fixed :D.

I don't get this though, you have 12k to spend, why not spend 2k on a mondeo and use the rest on fuel&tax&insurance for the next few years and even have something to spare...

I don't get my mother either, every small car, including a corsa, is a very nice car for her she says :(, luckily she doesn't really drive.
