SE C902

Or wifi, large screen, great video, stereo speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack, tv-out, GPS, excellent web-browser, additional software etc etc. You know, just those few things :p

Hey don't worry some people just need simple phones :)

Personally i like being able to do everything on my phone (E51). But i do use my iPod for my music and my IXUS80 for photos, both much better than their phone equivalents. Convergence isn't what its all cracked up to be :p.

Oh I appreciate that, the OP called the N95 a dinosaur, which is clearly a stupid comment since the C902 is the dinosaur in comparison to the N95.

=\ I didn't call the N95 a dinosaur...

By the way - I got the C902 ;) Very sexy phone and I'm very impressed with it at the moment :)

One problem I find with it at the moment - is that it is quite slow in operation - but other than that the features are nice and it's a relatively easy to use phone! :)

Sorry my mistake, it was someone a little further down the thread.

Got a C902 last wk, previous phone was W800i

The good:
- This phone looks daaamn nice, I now keep it in my pocket otherwise I just stare at it on the desk lol (revising atm:[)
- It's thinner than my previous phone (not too hard tho lol) but was an important factor for me
- Takes better pictures than old 2mp autofocus, the touchbutton interface is really cool
- Takes M2's, I whacked in 4gb myself today, phone feels bit more responsive
- Reception is really nice now, ppl sound great on the phone:)
- Moderate battery life, I left it for 2.5 days as an experiment, with light phone use and some picture taking thrown in before I had to charge it (tho bar stayed green for ages?! then went red)
The bad:
- The screen is bright enough, but not all that BRIGHT at 100%
- Keypad is useable but buttons take a fair press to acknowledge
- You won't easily be able to do the LED-TORCH thing as you have to put it into camera mode etc and then the LED doesn't stay on constantly
- It's not going to replace your digital camera and despite what ppl say it is NOT a dedicated camera phone it is a fashion camera phone, dedicateds are usually bigger
-Screen size is same as prev phone, but is perfectly useable in normal use, you want a larger screen with photo viewing sometimes tho...

Overall tho I really like my new phone, no phone is perfect, and same goes for this one...

Images taken yest with the C902 on auto settings & max quality
If you like macro I think this phone does a good job

You can actually do this, just put it into video mode and turn the 'flash' on, then the LED stays on :)

there's no detail in those pictures, just seems to be lost in there somehow. if thats the best it can do then it just goes to show the megapixels are all for nothing.

Exactly i don't know what the fascination is with these "super" camera phones, because they very rarely (if ever) are. I stick with my slim phone and take a compact camera (IXUS80) out with me which works out a little bigger in total, but i can take photos in all conditions, and its very capable.

Gents, I hate to be obvious, but you should have "Light" item in Menu->Organizer. You should be able to make a shortcut from "joystick button" to it as well.
