Unreal Tournament III [Xbox 360]

Anyone got this and compared it to the PC version? I was amazed at how poor the console game looked in comparison to it running on my lowish specced PC (Nvidia 8600GT).

Textures were much blurrier, and there wasn't the vibrance like the PC version has either. Also it's the first FPS I've played on a console in a long time where I wished I was using a keyboard and mouse.
 
New here, but have been looking through the forums now for months! I've got UT and to be honest its good, but nothing compared to the calibre of the PC versions.

Nearly every game online is either laggy or you lose connection.

But once you get into a game, its a good deathmatch, the usual UT. Crazy weapons, Crazy pick ups and just fast paced.

If your not sure about it, im sure a demo will drop soon for it.
 
I bought this today.. first impression. It's actually not bad at all. The online gameplay is pretty fun and typical of UT. Fast paced, bloody, and crazy! There is quite abit of depth with the vechiles.. have some crazy deploying tank that can deploy spider mines, EMP mines, shields!

Graphics are very good looking!

The multiplayer system seems to let it down some what from the brief hour I played. I tried to get into 5 games and only managed to enter 2. There is no connection quality bars of the host which makes it very hit and miss (hoping an update will fix this!).
 
Where are you lot? This game is number 2 in the 360 chart! Am I the only one here that bought the game?

Since I bought it last week theres been a big rise in the amount of people playing online, a lot more games are now being hosted and the wait for new players to join a game has been sliced. Been having some massive laughs with this game, its lots of bloody gory fast paced fun.

Have you played the PS3 version??

I would like a UT3 demo just so i can see how it stacks up to the PS3 version tbh.
 
I have this on the PC, and I've been a huge fan of the Unreal Tournament series for years, but this latest release has been a big let-down in terms of the amount of people playing, and having a community that's developing new mods and other extras.

Maybe over time UT3 will pick up a larger player-base and improve.
