Does anyone know when the new dashboard will be launched for the 360? cant seem to find a date anywhere.

Fall 2008.
Only if they HD it up.
It's been on the PSN for some time in select countries. It's just the PS1 game on classics selection. (it has been ESRB rated already for over here and US)

I don't mean to be a cynic or anti-Sony, but that sounds like a fantasy dreamed up by fanboys to counter the blow of FF13 coming to Xbox.
Of course I would love to be wrong and get the chance to play a next gen FF7, though I am a heathen who preferred FF8
I doubt it's true anyway, but it's not something that's just been dreamed up by Sony fanboys.
One of the makers of FF has said there will be a huge announcement to coincide with the Blu Ray release of Advent Children.

FF7 is already on the jap store, I think they're just putting it on the PAL stores soon.
What was everyone's favourite game this year then?
I have to say that the video that fired me up the most was Mercenaries 2.
I can't wait to launch a nuke onto one of my friends. It looked SO good, I just hope the 360/PC versions are on par with what we saw at E3 on the PS3.

My favorite game of E3 would have to be a toss up between Dead Space and Left 4 Dead. Two unique games and I just can't wait to play them.
