Ok, so heres another WoW question/debate.

I am looking to re-roll another char, but I don't know which one!

I have rolled a Rogue before, to 70, but then, some how my account was hacked. And after many hours on the phone to Blizzard, they returned it, but for just a few weeks later for them to take it again saying my account had breached again blah blah blah! I've been trying to get my char back for months now, but dont look like its gonna happen!

So I have purchased a new WoW install, and am looking to re-roll again, but I am tied as to what to roll!

I have started on a Warlock (around level 15 now) and its pretty good, but im still thinking of leveling a Hunter or maybe a rogue again (but i've been there done that).

So I'm looking for peoples opinions as to what to roll, which one is better.

I kinda like my weapons, such as swords etc, so Im kinda swaying to a hunter (as they can duel weild swords...am I correct?)

Cheers!

Locks are fun to level, but when you get to 70 and start raiding it a lot of spamming shadowbolts..

I have a 70 alt. Whos is PVE Affliction with T4, and its fun being affliction, being destro where your just spamming shadowbold is awsome for the dmg you do, but boring as hell.

I think shamans are more fun or a palla, as you can then heal too!

If you want to annoy other players at Level 70 roll a Druid and spec Resto, the amount of "OMG NERF DRUIDS" threads on the WoW forums lately is hilarious.

Hunters aren't really combat-orientated (well, none of mine are), so you probably wouldn't be using your swords all that often.

If you like bashing stuff, why not a warrior - they're fun and there's plenty of scope with them. They may not solo like the ultimate solo-machines, the Hunter, but they're a good option :)

Warriors get tedious once you click on that you get owned by nearly every other class in the game.
Two of my guildmates, including my brother, enjoyed levelling their Warriors up to 70. I'm only going on their comments - then again, my brother doesn't take part in PvP, he just loves the PvE aspect of WoW. Horses for courses, I guess.

But now I have noticed that in-games (some servers, esp one im looking to go back on) want all Warriors to be Tanks.

I have rolled a Warrior before, to around 55, but kinda got a little bored with always being the tank. etc.

Don't get me wrong, I loved my Warrior, it was always my alt character but when I got Spinal Reaper I was over the moon, upgrading weapons is ace.

Anyway but yeah, they are in a bad state in PvP I think, I don't even bother playing my (now 70 ofc) Warrior.

Yup, I always tank on my Druid though, it's fun and I ALWAYS get groups instantly to the daily heroics.

I find it quite unfair that a Druids' DPS and Tanking talent build is essentially all in one, where as Warriors pretty much have to spec Protection to be good at it.

Good thread, I was going to post a smiliar thread myself this morning.

I've got a warrior main char who's just respecced to arms after being a prot warrior for a year or so, and due to RL I'm basicallly not raiding anymore, I'm grinding money atm to buy the 5 nether Vortices needed to upgrade my Lionheart Champion to Lionheart Executioner. Due to the fact it's vary rarely I get to raid I'm going to have to pvp for awhile for me to get any decent arms spec armour.

Sooo, I was thinking of knocking it on the head and lvl'ing a couple of alts intime for WoTLK and want to know what you guys think is the most fun warlock or hunter. Also is WotLK still slated for a Sept 08 release?

True dat

Just re-specced my 70 Warrior to MS as i'm bored of tanking and always being the scapegoat if anything doesn't go exactly according to plan. Besides I find it far easier tanking on my Druid tbh. I'm currently leveling a Rogue so I can be collared into tanking/healing and can just spam SS all the time.

Indeed! Tanking on Druid is so much easier!

Yeah, that seems to be a problem with wow - if you *can* tank, you are often asked to, as so many people roll pure dps classes.

Same deal with healing - if you *can* heal, you are asked to do it, most of the time.

I rolled a Rogue and a Mage for that that reason - you only have 1 job.

Reason why warriors are the best tanks?

They are the best single target tanks in the game IMHO. Pallas are awsome trash/AOE tanks. Druids are good, but the lack of a sheild is the killer.
Druids are as good at tanking magic casting bosses, but a melee boss and the sheild does wondered for migitation.

Thats my personal View comming from a Warrior tank view. In MH atm, were taking 1 palla, 2 warriors and 1 druid - Feral Druid is in the Melee group for the melee buffs and for there Leader of the Pack buff.

Also a warrior in PVP.. you clearly don't know how to play it if you getting pwned.

Actually Druids are better against Melee for tanking, high armor does **** all against casters and Warriors have -10% from Defensive Stance to all damage.

Druids are the best against melee, 35k armor anyone? I believe Druids can do every encounter in the game as tanks with two or so bosses that actually require a Warrior. (or something like that)

Classic response, nothing to do with me not knowing how to play one.
