My Girlfriend bought the black boxset for under £90 and it has quite a few extras, it consists of about 30 DVD's, she bought a CD wallet for it to save carrying the box.

big box set with doors on it

Heh, I read your post as "Friends is such an appalling show" the first time round.

I dunno why, but I just don't get what's supposed to be so good about it. The jokes are all predictable, the acting is very meh, the actors are all annoying, the stories aren't clever. It fails at every level, imho.

What is funny about the smarmy bloke saying, "How you doin'?"... and why does the audience burst into fits of laughter whenever he does it - and why does he do it in every single episode?
