Red Alert 3 ?

Is it me, or does anyone else think that this looks like a pile of crap.

I just checked IGN now for some screen shots and it looks terrible. I pray they havent spoilt the series with this one.

The graphics I could bear but theres something unplaceably "wrong" with it, just seems bad. I'm a huge C&C fan normally.

Same here, i think this is the first time ive been dissapointed by them. I'll still give it a chance when its released though.

when i seen the video i thought omg wtf have they done....how can they go from C&C3 to this?
after i seen some screenshots i feel it probably just needs getting used to it.

looking at some screenshots the game does look more detailed..it is a bit cartoony but graphically it still does look quite impressive.

Not sure on the graphics but will be interested to see how the gameplay plays out with secondary abilities etc. could be good for micro

I think the graphics are trying to stay true to the RA2 cartoony 'theme'.

But had crap game play.

People think graphics make a game it doesn't in the slightest. Most graphically stunning games have awful game play.

It looks very good to me.

This one looks very cartoony. In RA2 the cartoony theme was acceptable because of the lack of graphics technologies available back then. Nowadays they could go with a simalar theme but with better modernised graphics, but this just looks babyish to me.

Also, who on earth deploys armoured bears into combat? :confused:

They're not going from C&C3 though, they're going from RA2 - or at least they're supposed to be. I always hoped the two series would be totally separate in style.

I like the style they've gone for... it's a direct follow on from RA2 with the bright colours, cartoony graphics.

C&C3 was much darker and gritty and has nothing to do with the RA series any more.

Like it too, don't see what the big fuss is if its following on frmo RA2 and not the C&C series
