best broadband provider atm?

not really its quite simply virgin are the best for a very fast stable connection(so long as your using their cable service), you can't get that from any adsl company. the only thing that other company's might beat virgin on is customer service but they have always been good to me.

they intoduced Phorm, application throttling, anti piracy measures not that i donwload anything, and stm is getting worse

You seem to have missed out on all the cack VM have introduced onto their service. That and the fact that some ADSL customers can get better speeds and stability than cable.

For instance, my line is completely stable at 1.3mbit up, 22mbit down. Double the upload and a faster download speed. This costs me £7.50 per month and the customer service is far better than VM.

I've used both cable and adsl simultaneously over long periods and good adsl beats cable.

If you've got a rubbish phoneline and/or no access to LLU then cable can win out, but it's nothing like as clearly cut as you are making out.

Virgin/ntl are crap and i been with them 10+ years now i can get LLU more likely will go with o2/be but as i am going to sky again might try their LLU.

Is that the 20meg Ultimate for £7.50 then? How come Be* does a '24mb' service whereas O2 only do a 20mb service? (I realise that I'm not likely to get anything like those speeds) Does that also tie you in to a 12month contract? Am I right in believing your not tied in to a contract with Be*? :)

Yup £7.50 for the top LLU package you can get on your line, £12.50 if you can't get LLU. Pretty sure it's the same 3 month cancellation deal as with Be* thing is you can check all this out before committing to any contracts :)

i was with virgin for 8 years but have moved to sky.

I must be lucky as I get full 16 meg and have no problems at all with the service.

I'd recommend them it's good for a tenner a month.

Even the sky digi box makes my old virgin box look like a poor mans freeview box.

In order of preference, most desirable first, least desirable last..

Any chance you can sort this for me then mate? Ive just contacted BT to have the line reconnected (Moving in on Saturday and the landlord has had his account disabled etc). So what do you require to sign me up? :)
