Going out costs

You're sleeping with the owner aren't you? :D

Hahah no, we used to go in quite often, and now we just get a lot free.

At first it was we'd give him say a £10 note, he'd come back with £10 in £1 coins etc, or £5 notes. But now the owner just gives us free stuff anyway.

I'm gonna come drinking with you!

Well normally the bigger nights include a meal first or something like the comedy store. then onto something like the locks or print works. On Saturday just gone we went for a curry in rusholme, then to lime bar for a few then to tiger tiger. We like to vary it a lot.

Christ. Especially discounting the meal (as outlined in the OP) there isn't a night out in Manc I'd be happy spending £100 on. Leeds, Newcastle, Liverpool maybe, but as Manc is all run-of-the-mill stuff over £60 would dampen my mood somewhat the next day.

At uni about £20 does it easily, £1.50 pints, £2 spirits and no taxi needed :)

To go to a proper town, £40 - £50 usually.

Every time have been to Leeds i have spent quite a bit, although i have only been there 4 times on nights out. We have probably ended up in dives as we do not know the bars, so just followed the crowds.
Is it always full of hen nights? as there seems to be a abundance every time i have been.

Up to £70ish I suppose.

But usally we stay in chatting until 11ish so that makes it cheaper.

No need for taxi's which is a bonus :)

Not really, though it does depend on where you go. Jumpin Jaks and then Majestyk's will see Hen action, as will Tiger Tiger and Oceana.

Similarly to Manc you do kinda need to know where you're heading in Leeds. There's plenty of great bars but they take some discovering if you don't already know them. I like the northern qtr in Manc but that's about it, where as Leeds has some good areas but they're quite spread out.

It varies but £40-50 is a fairly average night - a few pubs and then onto a club which is usually free entry or under £5. I'm usually in a loose sort of round system though which costs a bit more for when people don't buy drinks back, still I prefer accepting that sometimes you won't get drinks back than the whole attitude of "you didn't buy me a drink first". Generally each night begins with a clean slate on the round buying stakes, I can't be bothered trying to count back who I've bought drinks for and who owes me, life would be awfully dull if I did.

Phew no way, not many night's i spend under 80 quid, try to always make it under 100.
I dont exactly earn very much either, all my mates seem to spend bout that too.
most of my wages every week. lol.
