I'm not convinced it would beat the Civic FD2, and the Civic FD2 can seat 5 and doesnt need a turbo.
Turbo's are for makers who can't design a proper engine

I thought that 300bhp Alfa 147 was the fastest FWD production car?
Ah, but it won't go around corners.
It's a very different situation. BMW M cars are sold in BMW dealers by BMW salesmen, they appear on BMW price lists and marketing materials, they are on the BMW parts systems, have BMW technical manuals, are registered as "BMW Mx" models and BMW M is a wholly owned subsidiary and entity of BMW.That's the Alfa 147 Autodelta... yes they're a tuning company but only in the same respect that M are for BMW or AMG for Mercedes, so it counts as a production car.
And you'd be buying a normal car from Alfa that then would be sent to Autodelta to fiddle with! If you insured it you would have to insure it as a modified car. It does not have an official ABI insurance group.Nope, but I bet you could walk into a dealership and ask for one
Being French it will probably fall to bits or burn itself out anyway, at least we can hope.
Have to laugh at some of the comments regarding french build quality.
