Cattermole was never that good. The raw potential of Johnson is amazing, fast, great dribbling, wicked cross on him and he's a good set-piece taker. He's only a kid.
Johnson should be playing for Boro's first team, not going out on loan. If Rangers get him on loan they've done some smart business (and signed someone who isn't a striker!).

Lol that me me laugh... but its also sadly true.

Though tbh, out of all the seasons we've let ourselves down, last year really was the season we could have done it. That phase around winter time killed our hopes. That run of pathetic draws at Anfield which we would normally win stopped us from winning the title.

He's 21 now, so if good enough he should be in the first team. But he isn't, yet. I've seen him a lot of times and haven't really seen him display these techniques you praise him for, he's very quick and good with the ball at his feet but unfortunately that's far as it goes.

He's not ready to be in our side but good enough for our squad. I'd rather he stayed and got his experience playing with better players in CC or FA cup games tbh.

We could have gone on to the Champions league final last season, Kuyt wasted loads of chances last season and it was Babels first season. Dossena, Skertl and Agger with Carra right back is a strong back four and with Gerrard wanting to win the prem more than ever i can see us doing it.

Its just the start that we need to correct and get spot on this season, didnt we score the most goals last season?

Well, our current strike force is looking like Torres, Keane, Kuyt, Ngog and I'm definite we will sign a winger, so im still quite happy with how we're shaping up so far.

Im not so sure about us signing a winger (well a decent one) tbh. I think we'll get Keane and Barry and that will be about it for the first team.

Nah, im confident we'll be in for a winger and I'm not convinced that Alonso will be sticking around. Also if there's a possibility that Arbeloa is on the way out, then we should bring in a replacement.
