Does anyone miss beige?

I have recently upgraded my system and due to the lack of beige components I have had to buy black. I hate it! It collects dust within seconds and I will probably have to employ a full time cleaner to keep it looking at it's best.

I know what you mean! iv spent ages looking for my old beige dual pentium box just to bring it up to the 21 century with the uber 90's style!

I don't miss it that much, in fact I'm rather surprised it too so long for black to become mainstream. You also don't have to have just black, try aluminium instead.

glad beige has gone, cases now look appealing, and ones that you'd want to show off, unlike back in the day it was a case of hide the PC, now you'd want to show them off as they look good

It's not beige thats the problem, more the off yellow that it became over time.

I really don't miss beige, white isn't too bad, as long as there are some sort of other coloured areas to add interest.
Black/Silver/Aluminium are the way to go now and I don't see that looking too awful in the near future.

Its the only Keyboard I could find as my old Black Dell one has numerous keys that don't work and our IT won't buy me a new one!.. So I brought this in from Home (its been up in my loft for 3 years!!).

Beige just looks like a white pc thats been smoked around for 20 years, not good really.

Love my black pc and my white macs.

I dumped beige for silver ages ago with black drives, for me it looks much better, the ali-silver finish case still collects dust but you can't see it as much and the black drives helps contrast the silver.
