Bear with it's head stuck in a jar?

Wonders how it could bite / attack people right when it proberly couldnt see right and got a jar on its head to stop from bite

Even I could have done it.

Useless, the whole lot of them who were involved.

Poor bear. I'm sure if they'd thought about it for more than half a second, they could have worked something else out.

I dont think american chain of thought works in that order. I think its do first, think second :)

The white bears have been forced out of the city to the north pole through the influx of brown bears taking the good jobs and good housing from the resident white bears :D

Come on guys. The bear had actually reached the city, as in roaming the streets. It could kill a child pretty much instantly if it found one.

It had to be shot.
 
Perhaps a tranq dart and gun didnt have the range or power,and the bear legged it before they got close, where as a normal gun has the range?

Saying that, not that iv ever tried, I reckon I could have caught it given the tools they had, not that baiting would have worked, bet it couldnt smell much in that jar.

Also how comes it didnt paw it off, just use both front legs at same time ? lol
 
There are lots of bears in the US, and in geneal the US does do well to protect them.

What is far more distressing to me is the number of bears and wolves killed in Switzerland each year when they are struggling to re-inhabit the alps again after being exterminated completely. Every month I read in the paper of a bear or wolf being shot. And this isn't random hunters, its federally endorsed procedures to "protect farm stock and people".
 
how on earth can you shoot it with a gun but not a tranquiliser gun :/ they suck HARD, the only possible reason i can think is that they took their eyes off the bear and it sneaked into a town? but how can they have done that if they were following it for five days jesus they are totally incompetent :p
