LOL that was unfortunate. Doesnt look like he had much pace there unless he was just tired with it being the end of the game.

Good. I was all for signing him when the fee was around 18m but the reported 24m is a joke.
What a joke, greedy little get! Makes a load of noise about wanting to leave for a bigger contract and has now got himself a new contract and probably a pay rise which he hasn't justified!![]()
Liverpool ITKs seem to be suggesting that as soon as the Barry deal is done, we will be moving onto signing a top class winger (or striker who can play as a winger) and then that will be our business done. However, the winger will be dependant on Alonso being sold.
any ideas on who that might be?

How can people say that the Russian League isn't a decent league?
edit: looking at the post on rawk it doesn't seem like any sort of insider knowledge but more somebody having an educated guess.
Zenit and CSKA have both won the UEFA cup in recent seasons and they have a bunch of top players out in Eastern Europe.
Is the Barry deal not dead then?

Spanish champions Real Madrid have completed the signing of Dutch international midfielder Rafael van der Vaart from German side Hamburg for £7.1m. A potential blow for Cristiano Ronaldo, perhaps? (Spanish radio Cadena Ser, 1031 BST)
7.1m??? How in heck did they manage that?
Makes keane look very overpriced now.
edit: Just seen the post on RAWK and it seems more like an educated guess than any sort of insider knowledge.
