To be fair, she has gone through some really tough times this year, so I don't blame her.

However, I think I should put something around my neck and wear a bullet proof vest, just to be on the safe side, here at work...

Try playing somewhere where they've got a sound limiter which cuts all power when you go above a certain level.
Much worse than an old man lecturing you because it's not like drums have a volume nob on them.

Why didnt they stop him when he first started Stabbing him?

They Truck driver said he was alive when he had a look, then the guy got beheaded.

37 people on the bus VS 1 Nutter with a knife would stop him in his tracks pretty quick and possibly have the Victim still have a slim chance of being alive.(with maybe a few more people with wounds.

All it takes is a Knife or a gun and people Panick and run:(

I've played gigs before that have those things. You start getting nervous whenever it creeps into the red.
 
So they all ran off the bus like a frightened flock of sheep and just left this guy to get mutilated?

I think that's even more sickening.
 
You're forgetting about the knife wielding maniac...
afaik you cannot stop a artery bleed.

tbh I wouldn't have stopped him either, not unless you know other people are going to jump in so you know you're not the only one. And in cramped bus isle someone with a knife has a huge advantage.
 
Thats a pretty damn shocking news story.

however the reactions from people about singists posts are just silly. People going into depth about it not mentioning loud music etc.

They should have just shot and killed the killer when he was on the bus - save the wasted time of the trial and cost of imprisonment. The guy is clearly has no use or value to society.

I would imagine the last thing on anyones mind was getting involved and possibly getting stabbed themselves - self preservation is a pretty strong impulse unfortunately!

If someone had had a gun then they could have fired at the bloke to stop him but alas it wasn't the case ... such a harsh way to go :/
