What do you do in your lunch break?

Not very exciting, but we vary it by going to a turkish wrap place, or even the saraha spicy tuna/cheese place near by :)
we normally go to safad's on a thursday but no one's mentioned it so far today.

I do like to make the most of getting out of the office though

Normally play old school worms on the office playstation against someone lol, we've been playing it for about 8 months, nearly everyday and it doesn't seem to have got to old yet!
Or we all go out to the pub,
or sit and read the forums like at the moment, but I do that most the day so.....

Read the newspaper. Where I work we have 25 minute breaks every hour and a half, so a lot of us just go to the canteen and read the paper. (Working in a fluid systems factory until college)

Lunch break? Don't really have one.

I eat at my desk whilst browsing and talking on MSN as I do all day normally - sometimes watch TV if anything interesting is on (not very often)

where we going with this?
have you been forced to masterbate a colleague whilst been filmed? :p

i meant yourself, as then you're getting paid to be filmed masturbating, which by my reckoning makes you a professional porn star

If I could take a 15 minute lunch and go home 45 minutes earlier, then I happily would. Unfortunately that's not the case :(

Yeah hour long unpaid breaks just waste a small chunk of your day stuck somewhere you don't want to be, don't mind short paid breaks though.

Do you have the right to ask work for a reduced or no lunchbreak and to only work your 7 (or whatever) hours? Or do they have to specifiy by law you have to have a break?

45 minutes, play football if anyone else can be bothered and someone normally can. Eat lunch and read my book. And generally chat and on the odd occasion gets something from the chippy but that is abit out of the way.

I get 30mins for Lunch its usually checking the BBC sport website, the sun and here as well as MSN whilst wondering why the hell the clock goes slow during 9-5.

Nip to the local Tesco, have a mooch, stretch the legs come back and browse the net.

Even when websites are blocked, I use Gladder (add-on) for Firefox, pretty much bypasses any block site at my work :0)
