Website Critique needed

Navigation between images could be a bit easier, im having to clock back quite a bit.

As said (rather rudely imo) your writing could do with being a touch more professional, also i dont think your signature is nessesary unless your the owner of a large company.

The design is kept simple not to draw the focus from the pictures. I think it works well. The writing is ok for a 16 year old :)

I also think your photography is very good

Josh it's clean and simple but may not showcase your photographs to their best. However, as it's essentially free using weebly I reckon it's a decent enough effort. you may wish in future to get your own domain name and hosting and construct a more bespoke solution, but obviously the cost will be much higher. The signature *could* be used in identity fraud though, so may be wise to remove it if you're worried about security stuff like that. My advice is get your S9600, take some more original shots, maybe some abstract stuff or macros, look at post processing and maybe changing shots to increase the scope of your portfolio and enjoy!
Have you looked at redbubble etc. to sell stuff if that's the way you want to go?

Also, you can get a free flickr account to increase the visibility of your work, just watch out for the freeloaders nicking your stuff :)

Sorry, I don't like it, there's no imagination whatsoever in the design.

it was kept simple for two reasons, the first because of what Ross1234 says, and secondly because this is the first website I've made and I dunno how to make it any better tbh.

cheers for that, I am planning on making both a devian art page and a flickr acount.

how do you suggest I could improve its photograph showcasing capabilities?

and as for the signature its not my real signature I use for my bank or anything, could it still cause problems though?

I'm sure that lightbox or whatever script you use to overlay the images can use a next and previous button type navigation, that will ease it a bit...

The signature thing is just a possibility - perhaps I'm paranoid (call me Marvin) but if it's not your usual signature then what's the worry!?!?!?

Regarding the showcase, what I'm trying to get at is I'm not sure that there are many real standout images there yet. Just a little critique, I see many portfolios or galleries with "standard" shots. Don't worry about putting some different shots, get your S9600 and try out different ideas...

yeah true :)

I'm not sure how to include a next/previous button into the script, but I agree it is a bit clunky. I'll have a google and see what I can come up with.

Thanks for the input :)

yeah that is true, I mean I've got a few morew different shots, but because there not a kind of standard composition, im always worried kind of photography "snobs" if you like are just gonna think there rubbish.

its a good start mate
i think your pics should be larger in order to make more of an impact

the title bar is a little plain
keeping a simple font - but perhaps jazzing that up - as it was the first thing i looked at

It's not bad, but the white space at the bottom bugs me a lot. Either move the grey footer bar to the bottom or extend it to the bottom.

You also need to make the About section less personal; in particular the bits about your having broken your dad's old camera, needing to save up for a new one, and being apologetic about not having a 'professional DSLR'.

Btw how does this work :o

yeah theres some good ideas,

when you say the images are little small, do you mean after there enlarged or before they are enlarged, because there not that big when there enlarged for a reason - so people don't steal them.
