What has been your favourite gig

I love a bit of Venetian Snares - I would love to go.

I did have tickets to Aphex Twin last december but had to pull out because of Flu. :(:(:(

This year I have tickets to Squarepusher so I am totally being there, not missing that one.

I'd also love to see AFX, it nice to see he's doing more events now than in the past... Squarepusher is pretty mindblowing when he busts out his Bass guitar, it was ages ago when I saw him but unforgettable. Try and catch Ceefax (his brother) if you can, he's a proper nutter. :D

Venetian Snares was pretty much the highlight of the night (Bashout) - I've never seen the Black Swan so rammed! DJ Scotch Egg was also ok until the soundsystem blew! The promoter was less than impressed to say the least...

Nick Harper - the first time I saw him. Was in the acoustic tent at Greenbelt festival in the summer of 2003. I'd never heard of him before and was just in awe. I couldn't believe that one guy with an acoustic guitar could produce that kind of sound. His set was only 40 odd minutes long. When he started there were about 20 people in the tent. By the time he'd finished they'd taken the sides of the tent off becuase it had gone over capacity. There were hundreds of people packed round.

It's the only time I've ever been to gig and immediate ly bought the artist's entire back-catalogue afterwards.

This is one of my favourite songs of his. Sheer raw emotion. There's a mistake or two in this but incredible voice and a raw, emotional performance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uSHVmWz7j4

still havent beaten my previous best gig. cant see how i will anytime soon. not without bringing a few people back from the dead anyway

You shoulda left him hanging....I hate it when people say something and are just dieing for someone to question them on it, without actually just saying what it was the first time around and saving everyone the bother.

But he's left me hanging and I won't rest until I've found out.

Oasis Finsbury Park 2002 Friday Night.

My first gig ever !

Was awesome few days away, first time stopping in London aswell.

What a night !

Silverchair in Nottingham last year :)

Awesome :D

The whole few days around it was great, the travelling up, the getting lost, the getting drunk, the getting lost AND drunk.

The friends, the food, the gig... Awesome! :)

Biffy Clyro at Brixton last November, so good I am seeing them on 17th December same place.

Metallica at Wembley was mind blowingly awesome, bar Mastadon playing there.

Don't you mean HIM?

This show was amazing, bullet pulled out at the last minute and were replaced by MACHINE HEAD!

We missed mastodon due to getting their late and proceeded to snore through HIM, and then watched Machine Head and Metallica in awe

RATM, UNKLE and Echo and the Bunnymen at Oxegen last month had me speachless

Other than that Gary Numan at the Spring and Airbreak in Belfast back in March was brilliance

Prodigy in V-Festival a few years ago

about 15 of us went for the whole weekend, me & my housemate only went to actually see 4 bands, the rest of the time we just got wasted by the tent

because they were on last, we were pretty oiled by then and all lost each other, so we all watched prodigy 'alone' in the crowd, but it was awesome :)

Chemical Brothers in 1996 it was at Newcastle Uni the day after their second album was released.

A close second was seeing RATM at Pinkpop this year.

We are scientists in Nottingham a few years ago were amazing.
Hundred reasons always please at Rock city too.

Best probably the free tickets and VIP pass for Greenday when they played at MK bowl a number of years ago. Hate them now after the pain of hearing them everywhere and a housemate who played the same ****** album every day.
