Toughest game you've ever played ?

I'll have to go with DOOM on nightmare difficulty!

I can't believe people can actually complete the game on that mode! I consider myself quite good but that is just insane:eek:
 
UT on Godlike was pretty tough, though wouldn't be able to play it at that level any more :o. GH3 is a toughen too!!
 
Sin Episode 1 when it first came out and the dynamic diffuculty was bugged so it never got easier, only harder. I had to save my game a lot and my deaths were well over 100 by the end of the game.
 
walker on the amiga was great and seemed to me to be impossible as my hand cramped up to such a degree i actually had a claw instead of a hand. brill game though
 
F-Zero GX on the gamecube.

I still can't finish two of the cups on Master difficulty, and so I still haven't played the AX cup
 
1. Z - it was just impossible as far as i was concerned when i was little.

2. Urban Strike - I ALWAYS ran out of fuel on the last level

3. Devil May Cry 3 - it was a game that was clearly programmed by people that hated me.
