Which Petrol for Lawnmower

Follow guide, it's probably 2 stroke petrol/oil mix.

Not on the two Briggs and Stratton mower's i've got here ;) (i'm not sure if any of the current B&S engines for lawn mowers use 2 stroke mix).

Re the op.
It should probably be normal unleaded, it's worth checking the manual though.

Guys you haven't advised him of the ecotek valve to fit near the brake servo. It disturbs the airflow and helps increase the horsepower, from about 4-6hp.......

6HP, CAN YOU IMAGINE THE POWER, but watch out otherwise your wheels will spin in all gears up to 3rd.

Yep forgot that one. I was going to suggest a K&N Induction Cone except the heat soak issue isn't worth the hassle really.

Depends really. I was running mine (sandard B&Q effort) on 95 but I've since lowered it, dropped a K&N cone on her, nice SS 'zorst with a 4" can, lexus rear lights and a set of 3.5" ripspeed alloys and have found that 95RON was holding me back, dyno'd at 3bhp as standard, up to 4 with the mods. V-Power give me an extra 0.5bhp and the resistor mod arriving tomorrow should see the figure hit 5 at least!

By the way, what sort of economy are you lads getting out of your mowers? And anyone know any good mods for a petrol strimmer? Can you screw mod it?

95 Unleadeed will be fine

My Aldi hedge trimmer will wee all over a Qualcast power-trak 400 cylinder mower now I have had it remapped. Fuel economy has improved as well.

You're all having a laugh, aren't you?
