If she really is a virgin then thats a good thing imo if your looking for a proper relationship. If you just want a quick shag then look elsewhere... However, telling you that on the first date is really weird! If I liked her I would give her a second chance. Too hard to really know whats going on in her head at this early stage.

So, aside from the whole "I'm a virgin" thing, what was she like? I can't see how, in all honesty, unless you yourself are deeply religious and of the not wanting to have sex until married belief, it should really affect you? Sure, it might have come a bit out of the blue, very early on, she might have just wanted to tell you now to avoid any "embaressing" situatons further down the line were things to happen, she may have been nervous and just blurted it out etc, I don't know, but unless you're just looking to give the little fella a catbath, I really can't see why you're letting it get to be such a big deal.

In all honesty, sort your mind out and take her for her, not for her sexual past/lack thereof, if you have gotten over the "shock" and don't want to see her again, due to that or other reasons, then fair enough.
 
Sex isnt that important, take her for who she is not what shes done (or not done) :/ besides....theres always porn while she warms up to you

She told you for a reason, as you cannot see what that reason is it shows you two were not right for each other.

Pretty much sums it up really.

Just because someone tells you something personal about themselves, does not mean they are insane, crazy, trouble filled etc.. some people actually do just trust people easily, and feel comfortable around certain people and want to tell people things.

If she told you for a genuine, and honest reason, because she felt she could talk to you, I just feel bad for her, having bothered to tell you at all.
 
Why did it go quiet after that? Are you so impersonable (is that even a word) that you would reject her after hearing that?
 
why would it be hard? surely you would just ask why and then lead the conversation from there.
i guess if you were after a quick shag then yeah, conversation might die.

no differnt that someone telling you they are a devout religion follower or anything else that might be a bit unexpected.
 
What’s with the obsession with Virgins? It's like suicide bombers getting 72 Virgins in heaven - just why?! You want women who actually know what they're doing! And would have the mental emotion of a mature person to go with it! 20 years old who act like 14 year olds fail, hard.
