My new car - SEAT Leon Cupra R

Is it true only 750 of them in the uk? and only uk and spain have them as standard (i.e. not imported)? my friend told me that, but I've seen a fair few of them :o

Very nice.
Just took a closer look at your interior pictures.
I hadn't realised that the interior on the Cupra R is 99.9 identical to that in my new vRS.
Enjoy.

Which bit is the 0.1% thats different then?

I can believe that, took me ages to find one and even then, people seem to have ridiculous expectations regarding the price!

Managed 39mpg over 17 miles to the train station this morning so it can still be relatively economical :)

I coulnt say for sure but I would think there are more than 750 in the UK. The car new probably cost twice what you paid so 50% in 4 years on a performance car is very good. If it wasnt for the all the new tax rules etc and price of petrol it would be more than that.

39 mpg, dont think I have ever got that in my 20vt FR in ~7 months ! You sure it wasnt all down hill ? :)

Nice choice, deffinently the colour to get in my eyes as well.

Just needs lowering about 40mm to get it sitting perfect :D

Yea, they're ok. Splitters are cheap to replace so don't worry about those.

I find the engine reluctant to rev when you need a quick blip for the downshifts, and you'll soon find the handling limits when you start to push it. Brakes are too over-assisted for my liking, but that's a VAG thing really. I enjoyed mine for 12 months but then quickly found I'd had enough - don't enjoy driving them anymore.

Take it easy.
