It might not be as expensive as we think, it is intel afterall, they will be hugely mass produced i bet. Would'nt complain at 1 of the 80GB ssd's.

Current SSD's use Samsung chips, can't get much more mass produced than that.

true but intel have a lot more power to get cheaper prices that someone like OCZ.

price will be high, not only as it's SSD, but due to those high read/write times. i'll stick with conventional HDD's for now

Good to see their warming up, although Mtron announced back in june 260/240 is coming early 2009.. that`s what I`m waiting for. Till then my mobi will have to do.

No need for speedy chips...just run slower ones in parallel.
