Most covered songs were right the first time. Its not always about improving them just giving the song a different feel. FOB's cover isnt a masterpiece by any means but I enjoyed their creation. MJ's original wont ever be bettered and that IMHO goes for all his work.
As long as you enjoy it then that is what counts, I really don't because it reminds me of how much better the original is but I can sort that easily enough by switching off.

It is rather good, I've been listening to it quite a bit recently and I'm pretty sure it must have you who recommended it to me. For that and Elevator Suite I think I must be due you a pint if I ever meet you.
