The more I eat,the hungrier I get?

When you hit your big growth spurt then you will start to eat like a horse. You clearly dont want to eat right now but in your growth spurt youll eat absolutely loads. When i was 16 i used to eat 2 or 3 times the recomended calorie intake most days; my bmi was in the ideal weight category.

As others have said being a veggie is not good for you at all, you need lots of protein for growth and come on who can resist a good ribeye? :P

you currently are underweight and you under eat. by eating more than normal you kick your metabolism up a notch, this will naturally make you hungrier.

eat more every day and you will start to notice that you feel less hungry, this is where your body is equalising out again.

eat more.

5 stone at 14?

Are you sure you are 5 stone? That doesn't sound right to me and I have always been extremely skinny. When did you last weigh yourself?

This sounds like me when i was younger, if my memory serves correct i was 9st and was over 6feet tall when i was 16 (6'4" now but cant remember when i stopped growing). You just need to eat more, simple as.

I'm still around the same height now at 25 years old, maybe an inch or three taller, but i'm a more normal 14st 1lb.

You are worrying too much about what you eat in my opinion!

some of you won't like me for this, but i will continue to defend myself: I don't believe I have an eating disorder, I don't eat that well at school, but at home I think I eat enough.

You weigh 5 stone. That's really not a good sign. I've just looked - your combination of height and weight falls into the bottom first percentile for a 14 year old male adolescent. In other words, more than 99% of male people your age and height are heavier than you. The websites I've just used advise consulting a doctor.

Here's one, for example:

http://apps.nccd.cdc.gov/dnpabmi/Calculator.aspx

OK, it's USA, but that's close enough. Your BMI is 15.1. That website takes age into account (most don't and the ideal BMI range for a man isn't right for you yet). BMI is a rough guide, but it works well for people who don't have more than a fair bit above the usual proportion of muscle.

You report often feeling hungry.

You are at an age when you should naturally put on a lot of mass. Male people usually bulk up a lot during adolescence, rapidly getting taller, wider and generally bulkier. That has to come from food.

So I think you're not eating enough.

Being a vegetarian is an issue. Humans can live healthily on a wholly vegetarian diet because we're very versatile, but you do need to take more care about what you eat in order to get the necessary protein and variety. Don't listen to people saying you need meat to gain weight. That's rubbish - there are bodybuilders who are vegetarians and even some who are vegans eating only raw plant material. But you do need to be more careful about your diet if you're a vegetarian than if you're an omnivore.
