Yes you can, Martial arts are all about control and discipline, to lose control is against everything it stands for.

hmm i always thought it was about kicking the crap out of someone is style

nothing looks more impressive that a perfectly executed roundhouse kick to the head

i think by the end of that match he had completley given up on martial arts

its not like he randomly just lashed out the instant he was disqualified. looks like he had a good think about it for a minute and just thought **** this :o

You are entirely correct. However Andy does have a valid point. Olympics TKD is a farce. Appalling corner judges awarding points when the attacking player doesn't stay on their feet in the process. The pathetic indicating by players when they believe they should be awarded a point and the weight devisions are far too broad at 10kg increments. It has diluted the sport into a farcical display of bouncing nitwits. Appalling...

As for Angel - there is no justification - a life ban followed by assult charges I believe should be mandatory.

I'm not in anyway disagreeing with that.

Look on the bright side, hopefully the refs will now think twice before making stupid retarded decisions in future :D

TBH the standard of officiating in the combat sports at the Olympics has been utterly pathetic, particularly the boxing with the TKD not looking much better. The only combat event I'd give pass-marks to would be the Judo, where there didnt appear to be many controversial or just plain wrong decisions made.

Until they have proper electronic body pads that register the hits, similar to fencing, will the scoring be correct and not the subjective farce that it is now.

I strongly believe that they should also consider video replays and have a challenge system where a player has an allocated number of challenges in each fight with a 1/2 point penalty if they get it wrong so that it doesn't get abused.

The other thing that's been getting on my wick is the officials confiscating players country flags when their supports throw it to them. It's just so against the spirit of the Olympics.

WTF and Olympic TKD is a total joke as it is, without even more bad press from idiots like this him showing no self control (one of the 5 tenets of TKD). Glad hes been banned for life.

Cuba waste of space seems a nice place with free health but worst than your local council estate.

Scallies with sun I call them.
