Reading OC and this just ran across my lounge...

AGRESSIVE house spider? Give me strength, they are about as aggressive as a kiwi fruit.

Well being as the experience I've had with them proves you're talking out of your rear-end, I'll be inclined to disagree. Or are you obnoxious enough to tell me that my direct experience is wrong, and I have to just take your word over it?

Do you want to explain why the little blighters had a habit of going for my old dog or anything that moved? That seems like pretty aggressive behaviour in my book. Passive would be running the second the light went on.

I think these belong to you:

Agreed. Strangely they are usually the same people who claim they would tell their boss to "**** right off" if asked to stay on late at work, or would deck anyone who looked at their pint the wrong way.

You do realise right, that being afraid of spiders, or generally disliking them is not the same as social interaction?

I've got a somewhat inherited phobia of arachnids due to my mum freaking out around them when I was young. Seeing one near me literally sets my hairs on end, despite what my brain is telling me. I can deal with the damn things, but I really hate being near them. Yet, I'm perfectly confident in social interactions, and quite happy to tell people to "**** right off" if I have to. How does that make me strange, or are you just jumping to wild conclusions?

My god, I could go for two roll eyes today, but I wont. One is enough.

I'm surprised with the Australia reference we didnt get the picture of the clock spider, or the one in the fish tank, that appears every time someone see's a spide in their house.

I've held tarantulas before, not scared of em at all but one day when driving one (not sure what type) climbed out of a vent and onto the steering wheel, luckily i was'nt on the motorway :D Rats and mice though... cannot be anywhere near them.. :(
