Creamfields 2008

The ultimate chav festival?

Err, no? I didn't see any trouble. Its hardly a festival where people set cars on fire *cough* Reading *cough*.

EDIT - Actually, it seems it was a BBQ out of control.

Regardless, please take your ridiculous stereotyping out of the thread, thanks.

Exactly (although I did get in a bit of bother with a few scallys but was only a one off and the only thing I saw all weekend)... Unlike this:
What were the riots like in Reading?

At Leeds there was an absolutely massive fire in the middle with 100's of people crowded round it. Then people were sending gazebos and tents over the top of the crowd from miles away to chuck on it. Same with aerosols being launched from all over, never seen explosions like it in my life.

It started escalating later on, the wooden posts got pulled down and thrown on too, one nearly hit this girl in a tent when I was on my way home.

A lot, lot worse than last year put it that way.

Creamfields was amazing, despite the rain and mud (which wasn't as bad as I thought it would be) I'd say it was the best ever! Fatboy Slim was awesome, which surprised me tbh, don't usually rate him but he was right on the money Saturday.

Spent most of the night in the Tidy tent as it seemed to have the most energy by far, some fantastic sets in there :)

Very disappointed with the Cream tent. Paul Van Dyke wasn't upto much in my opinion and the hill it was on was absolutely ridiculous! The right side of the dancefloor was about 15 feet higher than the left!!

As for trouble and chavs... I didn't see a single one. Only thing to annoy me was people throwing plastic bottles into the air at the main stage but a £3.50 for a small bottle it didn't happen too often haha :)

Ahem I beg to differ:

Don't follow the rugby tbh. However, the boundaries around here do confuse me - I'm sure the licensing authority for the event is Halton?
