Films that make men cry

The Pianist as mentioned above is one of them for me.
Green Mile.

Not sure what else...

What was upsetting about that film? apart from being really mediocre?

Actually I would also like to add Infernal Affairs. On my first watch of that film, i was so into it and the end just shocked me to tears!

My thoughts exactly. I was working in a Cinema at the time this was on & I must have seen this at least 50 times. brought a lump to my throat each time.
The pair of them should have won oscars for their roles, especially Stolz.

I didnt say others had to agree with me, the green mile for instance didnt really affect me at all, theres some films that affect everyone but for other films it can be a very personal thing

First film that ever made me cry was Leon, when Matilda planted the plant in the park.
These are the rest:

Forrest Gump - grave scene always gets me
Schindler's List - multiple occasions, can't remember
Three Colours White - couple of moments, can't remember
Science of Sleep - argument at staircase and bedroom at the end pulled my heartstring
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - "First Night together" scene
Diving Bell and the Butterfly - First word attempt scene, phone conversation with dad
The Incredibles - plane crash scene
Life is Beautiful - ending
Terminator 2 - "I know now why you cry" :P
Stranger Than Fiction - several moments near the end

I also weep at Scrub's Brenden Fraser death episode, just after the revelation. Brilliant episode!

Can't think of anything else right now, but I'm a sodding weeper :/

I'm just saying what part of that film actually made you cry?

Terminator 2 - when he lowers himself into the furnace, gets me every time.

Braveheart - By the time Wallace screams "Freedom!", I'm teary eyed.

Apparently I also bawled like a baby when Luke lights the funeral pyre in Jedi.. but I was 4 and it was awesome. I also cried when Optimus Prime dies in Transformers - clearly I was in touch with my feelings from an early age.

Armageddon
Green Mile
Gladiator

All 3 made me well up a bit, green mile is the saddest film i have ever seen though :(

I am Sam with Sean Penn. I think I cried throughout pretty much the whole film :(

Not a film, but the final episode of Babylon 5, after everything they went through the last scene had me in tears :(

terminator 2 ending when i first saw it all those years ago. Green Mile aswell i saw it on video when it first came out, my dad said it was really sad and i watched it on my own and oh god that was sad. Last film i watched that made me cry was broke back mountain the ending to that was gutting, excellent film.

Too many to mention, but i will certainly single out Million dollar baby (excellent excellent film) and Eternal sunshine.

Anything sad involving kids makes me blubber.
