Dragons Den...Magic Pizza

Very surprised this got backing really, especially when his demo was a complete fail.

Have never seen this problem of the soggy middle  fan assisted ovens are the way to go.

Or just make your own pizza from scratch? Doesnt taste like **** - a frozen lump of bread with greasy-ass cheese jizzed all over it, and much better for you, as well as being perfectly cooked all the way through.

although busy parents dont have the time and would rather buy a £3 pizza from asdas they can chuck in the oven.

welcome to the real world, and the majority of the UK.

id welly rather buy a £1 frozen piece of crap pizza from iceland than spend a fiver on ingriedients and an hour making, cooking and then cleaning up a "homemade" one

Pro tip: DONT TURN THE OVEN UP SO GODDAMN HIGH!

*NEVER* have I had a pizza that was cooked on the outside but still frozen in the middle. Never.

Learn how to use an oven and your pizzas will be an even, golden brown - just how they should be :p

proper thin base pizzas dont suffer soggy middle.

only them nasty pizza wedges... loafs of bread with a bit of cheese on.

No no no sir, frozen deep pan are prone to soggy middle. real pizza will not

Unless your completely useless and given up on life you wont get soggy wet thin pizza

Thin pizza is like thin bread, leaves you hungry. Deep pan pizza with loads of topping is the way to go.

Never had a soggy pizza with gas or electric fan assisted ovens tbh.

The more I think about it, the more I think the dragons made a massive mistake on this one

Stupid idea, i put my pizza straight in the over onto the rack, no baking tray, no nothing.

Using that thing means all the cheese slides to the outside and possibly off the pizza itself.

The sad thing is that this will sell by the bucket load if it gets into the supermarkets at £1.99 each, but it'll be one of those tools that just sits in the back of the cupboard.

to be fair they only need to get 200,000 people to buy one and they will break even. not that 25k matters much.

im pretty sure there are 200,000 people/muppets around to part with £2

a fiver on ingredients?
You dont go shopping much do you....
what are we putting on this pizza?
you cant compare a cheap and nasty £1 pizza with a large one with a decent base, stuffed crust, rammed with loads of decent NUTRITIOUS toppings for £5.

except to a single mum on benefits that £5 buys 5 pizzas to feed her sprogs.

it buys 5 small pizzas that do not contain great nourishment for her sprogs.
OR she can use the £5 and buy slightly cheaper ingredients than I said and make 5 of her own pizzas and give her kids the good food kids should get, and can have something to smile about after.
Added bonus been that pizzas are stupidly easy and quick to make, so it would take 10-15mins longer to make and cook homemade pizzas than it would take to cook a frozen one, after a few practice runs.

found a guide for 3 11inch pizzas here estimated at under £6, and there wil be excess ingredients(meaning its cheaper next time) plus some can be axed all together, or downgraded.
