HOME will be out in 2008 (sony promise)

SCEJ didn't buy into the whole online gaming thing, thats why we have that half assed MGO online intergration. Just look at nintendo, they don't even have an online worth talking about it.
 
I know they said HOME will be like some big lobby system between games or something, but surely that's going to be pointless.

It would involve loading up HOME first then making a lobby and then loading the game, it'd make more sense to just go straight on the game, unless you can't invite cross-game but I thought that was changed...

I don't think I'll spend any real time on HOME apart from checking it out on release.

Edit: This isn't the only thing PS3 lacks, it's the lack of headsets that diminishes the online play, but the new Socom should fix that along with its bundled Logitech headset. :cool:

Its just like a virtual community online were you can see other people online and talk to them and invite them to games, you can also make your own house and watch videos online through it.

Visually its like sims 2
 
I'm still not sure I could actually fine a real use for HOME. I mean, it'll be fun for five minutes but it just doesn't inspire me. Maybe it's cos I've no friends....
