Logitech Z-5500

in no uncertain terms... its MASSIVE.

there is a video on youtube somewhere where a guy reviews it and gets his 2 year old kid to stand next to it for size comparison.

all I can say is omfg...

btw, they are amazing and I love them :)

What he said^^

They're absolutely massive, I've had mine for a few years and I can't fault them. Excellent value for money paired up with logitechs' top notch customer service.

Pics on their way . .

Please note: Logitech Z5500 Sub-Woofer is quite large, please check before purchasing. Logitech Z5500 Subwoofer dimensions: 13" X 13.3" X 18.1"

I loved my first set till they blew up, then i loved my second set till they erm... Blew up.

Waiting on my 3rd Set.

Hmm, its a 10" driver, for PC audio i'd say thats quite big, for home cinema yes the box is a little smaller than the more expensive stuff.

lol. I knew that was coming :D

;) I guess the 5500 in PC audio terms is a big sub but for HT it's classed as a small-to-medium sized sub. Not sure the size of this but that's a 12" driver, and there are four of them.

If you want a cheap and good effort for a 5.1 system then you can't go far wrong. They go fairly loud, sub goes boom booom boom, and osunds even better with a small towel stuffed into the bass port. unfortunately they arn't that amazing either if you compare them to a 5.1 setup from bookshelf speakers and an av amp, bu then again they cost a lot less.

If you want them for movies and games then go go go , if you listen to loads of music then a second hand 2.0 speaker setup with a hi-fi amp would be better suited.

Babbob, can't quite seem that sub, looks a little small TBH :D

You say that as if they refuse to play music.

I listen to hell of a lot of music, trust me . . . . they do a damn good job at doing so.

I also have HD595's should I need to stick some cans on.

They do music pretty well, but I have them in front of the TV so only for gaming/films and television these days, still pretty good for music when in stereo mode of course.

They sound miles better with my Xonar than they did on, on-board though.

6'6" tall tapped horn, not pretty but it works:

Only a single 12" driver but hits 125+dB from 25Hz upwards. :D
