Nope, mines a UK minter (god bless the previous owner of 8 years only driving it on sunny days

) and all of the imports I saw were tatty.

Have you heard one?

The Rover T16 turbo also sound pretty sweet with a Mongoose. The non turbo versions have a really wierd warble at low revs that sounds almost scooby like.

It's certainly better than a lot of inline 4s.

Agreed, infact the induction noise is OTT in my opinion.

Mine sounds like a bike with the standard airbox lid on. Zero induction noise

Nah thats the VAG 1.8T engine. The most characterless engine I have every heard on a performance car.
