Try also adding these cmmds the launcher but with your own values ofc:
-novid -width 1024 height 768 -refresh 85
On 64 aswell and have had a lot of ctd's, seems to be better now.
I also put this line into the windows cmd prompt net localgroup administrators NetworkService /ADD
I dont know exactly what it does, just that i havent had side effects from it yet, so only do it if you find out what it does and feel your PC will be ok with it.

I heard about that when having a look around last night. I added it. Played for about an hour this morning and just about to heal when it happened again. I hear the hard drive seconds before, then pauses... then the error
