I used to think that this society was real and full of nutcases and just plain idiots, but having a quick browse through the forums it seems they are just troll baiting. At least I hope they are; I really despair to think there are people that stupid that they completely ignore all contradicting evidence in order to perpetuate this fantasy.

The internet is the great enabler of mankind. It is used for three major purposes:

1. The dissemination of pron.
2. Enabling any crackpot with whatever stupid idea they have to voice their opinion on an equal footing with the rest of society.
3. Total control of our society by the Overlords from their nest in the Himalayas.
 
They're just a bit thick tbh.
Humour them, they're like religious fanatics "Jesus will return" "God hates you" "God loves you" "Jesus would want me to drink" All laughable ideas to me.
 
I just love the attempted compebacks they make when someone suggests the earth is round (globe).

Do they simple ignore simple things like the Horizon? The fact that a plane can fly from the UK - US - Japan - Asia - Europe - UK without falling off a imaginary disc?!

Actually how would they disprove that second point?

I just love the fact that they seem to think Antartica doesn't exist.

Also I have just though in the episode if Top gear where they went across the desert in bangers there is one shot showing where they are going (basically just a shot of the open desert). This shot clearly showed the curvature of the earth.
 
They say plane staff are on to this and if you check out their map of the earth you kinda can do this fly thing. Granted it is silly, but hey lots of people sit on my taxes so presumably at least some of them work.

Why would we give a **** if the worlds round or flat anyway.
We know its round, why would the government want to conspire against us to convince us it's round.
What benefit?

I bet flat earthers are so wrapped up in that they can't see they're distracting themselves from their governments disgusting corruption.

Why exactly does the government want to keep it secret, how does one profit from people believing the earth to be flat?

(also do they explain why you can't send a laser, or radio signal across the earth (at an altitude obviously) as it should be possible for a flat earth.
