This just looks to me like United are dragging it out so Sparky can't even have a chat with him.

If they don't have the proper permissions to talk to the player, surely he shouldn't be having a medical?

I bet United get it all sorted with Berba for 11:30 then offer about £25M for him to Spurs. They would have to accept that because there would be no way he could get sorted at City for the higher price in time of the window shutting.

I just hope City get the chance to speak to him, even if he decides not to go there.
 
Its all cat and mouse, firstly Spurs were in control with the City interest and everything, but the longer it drags on the see-saw tilts in United's favour. Going to be an interesting two and a half hours :p
 
City don't have CL footy but Man U haven't even had a bid accepted. If they don't have one accepted I reckon he'll go to Man City because he can't really stay at Spurs.
 
I think (and I have no proof of this, it's just an idea) that the deals been done with Spurs, but nothings being announced till its all final.

It's clear he's not going anywhere else, and to be this blatent about it without permission would be extremely odd..

Its hours since Spurs said they hadn't given permission.
 
I think if Berba was considering going to City he would have spoken to them by now.

It's going to be United or nothing.
 
I remember being on here until midnight two years ago when the A.Cole deal went through last minute. Last year was a letdown in comparison, this year is certainly living up to the hype though :)
 
I'd love it if Berba went to City. :D

He's been superb for us, bar recently, but he's clearly an idiot. If he's not allowed to go to utd (as Levy is attemping) he'll have to go to City and we'll know he's been talking rubbish over the last few months.
