All New Summer 2008 Transfer Merry Go Round/Rumour Mill

I know.. i wanna know before i go to bed.

However Fulham signed Coventry's Julian Gray on a season long loan, just as big news that is.

He's decent, but maybe hes one of the players that plays better in England?

time for bed now its announced lol...and i hope he isnt one of those players for our sake:p but i cant wait to watch what he has on match of the day...

btw who is that in your sig?;)

Id say its levy 1 fergie 0

Man utd got shafted for 30 million for a big baby whos knocking on 28

Couple of ways you can look at it I guess. Footballers play on well into their 30's now so if we do end up winning the league again or the champions league then the deal pretty much pays for itself.

The way Utd have conducted this meant Spurs had little chance of bringing in a big quality signing to replace Berbs at the 11th hour. I think Fergie outwitted them. As I say though couple of ways you can look at it

im going to miss berba he did very well for us im sorry it ended like it did :(

would you think im bitter if i wished he broke his leg Eduardo style in his first game for utd?

Could always bring in the whole 'tapping' thing...how much would that cost United in fines? Could say it's all level now.

I've got to say, that this has been the most exiting 24 hours in football (off the pitch) I've ever witnessed... absolutely fantastic.

Robinho to England is brilliant news (whether he's gone to Citeh or not) and Berbatov = a new striker :D

Now just announce he'll wear number 9 and I'll buy a new United shirt :D

That's not bitter but that is just an absolute horrible thing to even remotely suggest would happen. Especially as you've mentioned you'll miss him in the same breathe :-/

It has been confirmed he will wear number 9.

Anyone think this Robinho deal is similar to that of Tevez and Mascherano going to WH a few years ago?, i.e a BIG player at not so big of a club...

Bound to be a failure?

most people have an evil side and a good side

you telling me you dont have friends who you like but then secretly wish something bad happens to them when you let you down/**** you off

Upon becoming a United player, Dimitar told ManUtd.com: "Joining Manchester United is a dream come true for me. I look forward to playing my part in helping this club win more honours in the years to come."

Sir Alex Ferguson was delighted to finally capture the elegant striker and admitted: "This is a key signing. Dimitar is one of the best and most exciting strikers in world football.

"His style and ability will give the team a different dimension and I’m sure he will be a popular player with the fans."

Man City are on the up, but I'm surprised they netted Robinho.

Man UTD were always gonna stump up Berby, who I don't think is worth that kind of money.
