I suspect Brown and his government maybe forced into a re-think due to backbench pressure a la the 10% tax rise debacle. We will wait with baited breath.

it looks like there may be a bit of concession by the government.
This is in the boxout at the bottom of the table:-
However, the whole situation regarding the backdating of ved is unethical and the government are starting to realise that they are hitting some of the poorer families with this tax.
Mine expires next July. Who can be bothered with SORNing...sounds like a right pita.
